General ECOLINE VARISPEED Series Description
The BITZER ECOLINE VARISPEED series extends the trendsetting qualities of the standard ECOLINE compressors with an integrated frequency inverter (FI) for stepless capacity control. This inverter is solidly flanged directly onto the compressor's motor cover and features maintenance-free suction gas cooling for its power elements, which eliminates the need for a fan or regular maintenance. Key benefits include a significant cooling capacity increase of approximately 45% compared to fixed-speed operation (60 Hz), optimum capacity adaptation with a control range of more than 3:1, and minimized suction pressure fluctuations and cycling frequencies. This technology leads to very cost-effective operation with high seasonal efficiency. The series also features a solid and speed-proof drive gear and is designed for universal application with refrigerants such as R134a, R404A/R507A, R407A, R407C, and R407F.
