General ECOLINE VARISPEED Series Description: The BITZER ECOLINE VARISPEED series extends the trendsetting qualities of the ECOLINE compressors with an integrated frequency inverter (FI) for stepless capacity control. The FI is solidly flanged onto the compressor's motor cover and features maintenance-free suction gas cooling for its power elements, eliminating the need for a fan. This design allows for a significant cooling capacity increase of approximately 45% compared to fixed-speed operation and provides optimum capacity adaptation with a control range of more than 3:1. The stepless control minimizes suction pressure fluctuations and cycling frequencies, leading to very cost-effective and high system efficiency. The series features a solid and speed-proof drive gear, a completely parameterized inverter for easy commissioning, and a low starting current. It offers a universal application range with refrigerants including R134a, R404A/R507A, R407A, R407C, and R407F.
